Need Help? Start Here.
Difficult seasons can happen to anyone. The Resilience Project works alongside individuals and families facing hardship by providing practical assistance, connecting people with community resources, and helping identify a path toward greater stability.
Assistance is based on individual circumstances, available funding and resources, and the type of need. Submitting a request does not guarantee assistance.
How We May Be Able to Help
Basic Needs & Crisis Assistance
Food, clothing, hygiene items, utility assistance, and other essential needs.
Mental Health & Recovery
Connections to counseling, mental health resources, addiction recovery services, support programs, and other appropriate community resources.
Housing & Stability
Connections to housing resources, homelessness assistance, mentoring, and practical support aimed at improving housing stability.
Transportation
Transportation to medical appointments, employment-related needs, essential services, and other approved circumstances.
Who Can Request Assistance
The Resilience Project primarily serves individuals and families in Ardmore, Lone Grove, Wilson, and surrounding Southern Oklahoma communities.
Requests are considered based on need, available resources, eligibility, and the organization's ability to provide or locate appropriate assistance.
Households are generally eligible to receive direct financial or material assistance from The Resilience Project once per calendar quarter. Referrals, resource information, and other nonfinancial support may be available more frequently.
What Happens After I Submit a Request?
1. Submit Your Request → 2. Our Team Reviews It → 3. We Contact You About Next Steps
Our team will review your request and may contact you for additional information or documentation. Depending on the need, The Resilience Project may provide assistance directly, connect you with one of our community partners, or provide information about other available resources.
We cannot guarantee that every request will be approved or funded.
Before You Apply
When financial assistance is approved, The Resilience Project generally makes payment directly to the service provider, vendor, landlord, utility company, or other appropriate third party rather than providing cash directly to the applicant.
Please be prepared to provide information about your household, the assistance you are requesting, and the circumstances contributing to your current need. For some requests, we may ask for documentation such as a utility bill, lease, identification, appointment information, or other documentation needed to evaluate the request.
If You Need Immediate Help
The Resilience Project is not an emergency response organization. If you are experiencing a medical or life-threatening emergency, call 911. If you are in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service.
Please Note: The Resilience Project's ability to provide assistance depends on available funding, resources, eligibility, and the circumstances of each request. Submission of a request does not create an entitlement to assistance or guarantee approval. Assistance decisions are made in accordance with the organization's charitable mission and established policies.
